Some common but extremely practical Unique in Diablo II: Resurrected Season 6.

Apr-18-2024

In Diablo II, although regular level unique is common, some unique has good attributes, and some of them are very practical in the early stages of the game. According to its quality type and specific attributes, unique is suitable for pairing with different professions and game styles.  Quality unique with relatively fixed attributes plays a very important role in different stages of the game. Although in many cases, unique may not be considered the strongest unique, some of them are also indispensable in many gameplay specific unique combinations.

Weapon

Bloodfist: A glove that is very suitable for melee professions such as Amazons and Barbarians, providing a 30% attack power and a 20% hit rate bonus. It is very practical in the early stages of the game. This Unique has great defensive abilities on gloves with very low requirements. This favors melee players with its increased attack speed and faster recovery, but anyone can wear them and benefit. Just a reminder to Shapeshifted Druids: you will not get any increased attack speed benefit from these, since increased attack speed only counts off a Shapeshifted Druid's weapon. Even without the increased attack speed, they're a great pair of early gloves.

Manald Heal: A staff with health and magic recovery features is useful to nearly every class, not just Sorceress. Nearly everyone struggles with mana early in the game, so it is helpful for those who possess this magical staff. The only real downside to this is that it requires a much higher level than 15 to acquire this ring. It's a good ring that will serve well into the future. If you get a high roll on the Mana Leech, it's much better than what you can normally get in this level range.

Armor

The Eye of Etlich: A helmet that has a number of things to recommend it, including the +1 to all skills, life leech, increase damage resistance by 30% and defense to missiles. The cold damage is minor and mostly useful for slowing enemies for melee characters. Again, something for everyone here. It is very helpful for early survival in the game.

Treads of Cthon: A pair of shoes gives the wearer a 25% chance to avoid physical damage and performs well in softcore. Anyone who's spent time trudging across an open field because they've run out of Stamina (again) will greatly appreciate these boots. They have good defensive traits, but the 50% slower stamina drain is much appreciated by all. It can even save your life.

Tarnhelm: A helmet can increase fire resistance by 25% and lightning resistance by 25%, making it a great choice of armor in the early stages of the game. While it doesn't have a ton of other properties, it's a great early helmet for Magic Find/Gold Find for a beginner struggling character. The +1 to all skill levels is also great with such a low level requirement.

Raven Claw: Raven Claw is a unique Long Bow. It is one of a few weapons firing Explosive Arrows. That property makes it a fantastic early and even mid game weapon for builds which plenty of weapon fire damage (such as Enchant sorceresses and Holy Fire paladins). However, it lacks pierce, limiting the damage done to large groups of enemies. Later it can be replaced by Kuko Shakaku, Demon Machine.

Windforce: Windforce is a unique Hydra Bow. It makes an appearance in Diablo I, Diablo II and Diablo III. Windforce is one of the best weapons for a Bowazon and is second to none in raw damage. However, with the release of Ladder mode, it has been given competition in Rune Words such as Faith and Wrath.

Twitchthroe: This Studded Leather body armor is most useful to melee classes that use Shields, such as Paladins or shield-using Barbarians, such as a Berserker. The increased chance to block may put it over the edge of the popular leveling runeword Stealth, which you can get at level 17.

Hotspur: Hotspur are unique Boots. Hotspur is useful for its high Fire Resist, it is often not used past early game, but it can find use to some players due to its ability to raise maximum fire resistance.

Summary

Although ordinary level unique is useful in the early stages, its attributes become limited in the later stages of the game. Players can collect and use unique at a lower level, and gradually replace it with more powerful unique at a higher level. Although these unique will eventually be replaced by more powerful expansion level or elite level unique, they play a very important role in softcore and can greatly accelerate the player's progress.
