Scattered throughout World of Warcraft are unique, hard-to-find enemies called rares. They come in all shapes and sizes, and beating them can be quite a challenge. In Wrath of the Lich King Classic, after defeating all the rares in Northrend, you'll earn the Frostbitten achievement, a popular challenge for many players during WotLK.

A selection of useful rare-finding add-ons are:

Tomtom: it allows you to import waypoints and provides a marker to guide you toward rare spawns points

Paste: it allows you to import multiple lines of text at once.

NPC Scan: it will pop up with a warning when you come within a certain range of a rare mob.
