Wintergrasp, Wrath of the Lich King Classic Edition offers a unique way to engage in PvP and is one of all the signature features and content brought to World of Warcraft.

This world PvP-centric area is located almost in the middle of Northrend, just west of Crystalsong and its adjacent areas, Icecrown and Dragonflight.

How to Get to Wintergrasp in WoW Classic WotLK

Although it looks easy, getting to Wintergrasp is quite a hassle. Generally speaking, there are three ways in this area. They are lining up for Witnergrasp, using Dalaran's portal, or flying directly to the area.

It's worth noting that Wintergrasp is a full-scale PvP battle between the Alliance and the Horde, which means whoever wins it - either defending it while controlling it, or taking over it while attacking it - can Visit the main base. Once your faction has a main base, you can take part in the Vault of Archavon raid in Archavon, which will drop PvP and level gear.

Line up for Wintergrasp

The Battle of Wintergrasp takes place every three hours. Here, the Alliance and Horde take part in large-scale PvP battles multiple times a day. The first way to enter Wintergrasp is by queuing to enter the battlefield, where players can line up at their respective faction centers in Dalaran.

Players level 75 and above can queue for Wintergrasp. Go to Wintergrasp through the Dalaran portal. If your corresponding faction controls Wintergrasp, a portal will spawn next to your designated Wintergrasp Battlemaster. Alliance players can go to Arcanist Braedin in the Silver Enclave, while Horde players can go to Magister Surdiel in the Sunreaver's Sanctuary.

These NPCs will also notify you when the next Wintergrasp Battle begins. Fly to Wintergrasp Lake. Last but not least, if you want to go to Wintergrasp and your respective faction can't control it and you can't queue, you can choose Cold Weather Flying or with a Flight Path.
