MMOSO WotLK Classic Shadowmourne: How to get the Legendary Axe?
Everyone should know that Legendaries are an iconic part of World of Warcraft. Being able to wield very powerful weapons or wear powerful armor, with a unique set of abilities that go beyond stats, is a sign not only of strength but also of devotion.
Most of the time, with the exception of Warglaives of Azzinoth in TBC, legends take a lot of time and effort. This can be evidenced with Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker and Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros in vanilla World of Warcraft.
The same goes for one of the game's most iconic weapons, Shadowmourne, for the WotLK Classic.
How to get Shadowmourne?
Before we get into the guide, here's some background on when to try and get Shadowmourne. As with the other Legendaries mentioned above, obtaining Shadowmourne will take a few weeks. Also, in addition to weapons, you will also be rewarded with cosmetic items that you can sell to other players.
1. Getting Friendly with the Ashen Verdict
In order to be eligible for Shadowmourne, you first have to be friendly with Verdict of Ashes, as that reputation level will make the initial quest available.
It's fairly easy to form a friendly relationship with Verdict of the Ashes, all you have to do is clear out the junk in Icecrown Citadel until the first leader of the team, Lord Marogar...many times. Go in, clear the trash, go out, reset, rinse and repeat.
Luckily, players will be clamoring for reputation once Icecrown Citadel is released, due to the other benefits that Ashen Verdict reputation provides.
2. The Sacred and the Corrupt
Once you've done all the rep grind, you can finally move on to the long quest line. First, you'll head to Highlord Mograine, located to the right of the entrance to Icecrown Citadel.
This quest will let you collect various items.
25 Primal Saronite
Can be purchased at the auction house
Purchased from quartermasters in Dalaran and Icecrown Citadel for various prices
Retrieve Light's Vengeance from a cave in Dragonblight (coordinates 74,24)
Kill Festergut and loot Festergut's Acidic Blood
Kill Rotface and loot Rotface's Acidic Blood
Once you have all these items, you can return to Highlord Mograine, turn in the quest and get the Shadowblade.
3. A Feast of Souls
Now that you've completed the first quest of the quest chain and acquired the Shadowmourne weapon component, you need to feed the weapon some souls, 50 in total.
Just kill 50 minions of the Lich King to do this. These can be bosses or trash, which means if you're ready for more Ashen Verdict grinds, you'll be done in no time.
With the soul-fed Shadowblade, it's time for the hardest part of the questline - infusion.
4. Unholy Infusion
The first is Evil Infusion, which is tasked with not only killing Professor Putricide, but also injecting some of his slime into your weapon.
The way to do this is fairly simple, start meeting up with Professor Putricide at 25 and run the whole move until he's at exactly 80% health. From there, wait for Putricide to spawn three slime puddles, then walk to his table and drink the concoction that turns you into an abomination.
Beyond that, you'll want the boss to be below 80% as it triggers phase 2, and hopefully become a full abomination. Once turned into an abomination, you will have several skills to press your action bar, in order to complete this task, you will focus on the first and fourth skills.
Using the first skill, you'll walk up to the slimes and eat them until the bar on your right is filled. After that, tap on the fourth skill, and it will infuse your Shadowblade with evil power, and that's it.
5. Blood Infusion
The second is a blood transfusion, where you not only kill the blood queen Lanather, but also inject some of her blood into your weapon.
The goal of this quest is to bite three different people with the boss's vampire, then kill the boss. This can be a tricky process, but if done right, the task will be completed quickly.
First, you must be bitten by Blood Queen Ranather herself or another player. Once bitten, you can bite another player of your choice (or the raid leader's choice), and from there, the debuff will have to come back to you again. After that, rinse and repeat until you have spread the debuff a total of 3 times.
6. Frost Infusion
A third and perhaps easier infusion is Frost Infusion, where Sindragosa must cast her Frost Breath ability on you four times.
Pretty simple, just stand up, don't dodge her abilities, and kill Sindragosa. Of course, make sure you don't die in the process.
7. The Splintered Throne
Now that you've done all the infusions, perhaps the hardest and most time-consuming part of the questline, collect 50 Shadowfrost Fragments and earn your Shadowmourne.
Killing a boss will drop a Shadowfrost Shard, but it's not guaranteed, plus with a total of 13 bosses in the raid, this will take a while. As always, if possible, make sure to complete raids in 25-player hero mode, as the difficulty increases will improve your chances of dropping the number of shards per week.
Shadow's Edge turns into Shadowmourne after completing the quest and turning it in.

8. The Lich King's Last Stand
Last but not least, defeat the Lich King for some extra goodies while in Shadowmourne. After knocking him down, he will drop a sealed crate that can be given to the Highlord Mograine and he will give you an unsealed crate as a reward.
This unsealed chest contains five items, and when you hand them over to their respective owners, you'll get several items and a mount.
Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger
Tabard of the Lightbringer
Sylvanas' Music Box

The Fjord is one of two starting areas available to players at the start of the World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King expansion, along with the Borean Tundra. Howling Fjord is one of the first areas players encounter when traveling in Northrend, how do we get there?
The Alliance and Horde have two different ways to reach the Howling Fjord, and players from opposing factions may not interact with each other on their journeys to and through the area. This should be a change from many classic veterans, as both Alliance and Horde players start out in the same area in TBC, resulting in too many players competing to complete the same tasks. In WotLK, this is not the case, as the two factions are completely separated into two parts in two different areas.
Alliance and Horde players looking to travel to Howling Fjord can get there in the following different ways.
Getting to Howling Fjord is relatively easy as an Alliance player unlocking the Menethil Harbor flight path.
Once you arrive at Menethil Harbor, go to the port area where the pier is located, then go to the pier on the far right. The dockmaster for the boat heading to the Howling Fjord is Ludin Farrow. If you see him, you've come to the right place. The ship that will take you to the Howling Fjord looks a little different than a standard Alliance ship, as it is adorned with an eagle's head and gold trim on the sides.
Once the ship arrives, board and prepare for your journey to Northrend. After a brief but incredible scenic journey across the sea, you'll arrive at Valgarde, the Alliance's base of operations in the Howling Fjord.
Horde players will travel to the Howling Fjord in a zeppelin. The zeppelins heading to the Howling Fjord are easily accessible from the Undercity.
After leaving the Undercity through the main entrance of the Undercity, approach the Zeppelin Tower on the far left on the west side of the area. Climb up the steps of the airship tower until the airship (named Cloudkisser) reaches the tower. After a short ride on the airship, you'll be transported to the Horde camp on the far east coast of Howling Fjord for a vengeance landing.

WoW TBC Classic Ends Mas ...
After almost a year of deployment, the Final Phase of Burning Crusade Classic is finally live and implies the imminent arrival of new features for Wrath of the Lich King Classic. But while we could expect a fairly mixed success at the end of the expansion, the opposite seems to be happening in certain realms of the version dedicated to those nostalgic for the game.
Firemaw breaks records
While we could expect a fairly mixed attendance for this end of Burning Crusade Classic, the arrival of Phase 5 seems to have largely galvanized the troops. This is indeed the very last of this first expansion and therefore implies that the content of the Wrath of the Lich King Classic expansion could be unveiled and then deployed very soon. We are talking here about a few weeks at most of the content deployment method is identical to BC Classic!
We previously mentioned the possibility that an announcement related to this extension could take place during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
The second extension of World of Warcraft is one of the most fantasized and appreciated by the community as a whole for many reasons (sometimes justified, sometimes "delu" as they say). It is in this sense that its expectation seems to have galvanized players: Firemaw (EN), one of the most populated European servers historically, is at the time of writing the most visited realm in the world ( on Burning Crusade Classic), and by far!
With more than 33,000 active players recorded and a ratio of 56% for the Alliance and 44% for the Horde, it is undoubtedly the kingdom most acclaimed by the European community at the end of the expansion. This Sunday, May 15, 2022, a record was also recorded with a peak of more than 10,000 players in line to connect to the server, i.e. almost 4 hours of waiting! As incredible as appalling!

Even crazier: this kingdom is not at all the only one to benefit from such enthusiasm. In Europe, four of them pass the 10,000 active player mark, while 6 others in North America seem to have the majority of Burning Crusade Classic players to date:
Naturally, the data from the French-speaking kingdoms are much less spectacular and this is quite normal since it is difficult to compare "international" servers where the English language is the most spoken with servers such as French-speaking or Spanish-speaking ones. However, it is not as weak as one might imagine at first sight since the three main servers have a rather substantial community:
The arrival of the latest phase of content, including the Isle of Quel'Danas and the Sunwell Plateau, has undoubtedly attracted many players. But this "new" content coupled with the ever more urgent arrival of the next expansion is probably at the origin of this sudden renewed interest: many players are already preparing for their next epic in North Azeroth!
However, no concrete announcement has yet taken place on the side of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The current attendance is therefore very likely to be very low compared to the data that we will undoubtedly see in the coming weeks. One thing is certain: now is the time to get back to Burning Crusade Classic to prepare your character for new adventures in Northrend later this year!
If the idea of resuming Classic crosses your mind, we strongly recommend that you avoid the servers with high traffic but also those with the weakest. Kingdoms with a High population are undoubtedly the main candidates to which we would direct you, Auberdine on the French-speaking side in particular. Amnennar is also a very good alternative although the attendance is not huge, it remains a good balance between the colossal Sulfuron and the desert Finkle.
Mograine or Earthshaker would probably be the ones we recommend since you have to keep in mind that currently High population servers will be taken over as soon as the WotLK release date is announced! WoW players prepare for WOTLK Classic, come out to understand the changes of various occupations, and prepare various materials in the game, I believe that WOTLK Classic Gold is what players care about most, and the economic basis determines the superstructure. Bring your staunchest allies with you if you want to face the dangers within the heart of Zul’Aman and claim the treasures within.
The stronghold of Zul'Aman has stood for millennia as the Amani trolls' seat of power and bastion of the fearless, cunning warlord Zul'jin.
Zul'jin has spent several years plotting behind Zul'Aman's walls. Furious at the Horde for allowing his hated enemies, the blood elves, to join its ranks, he eagerly embraced a scheme that the witch doctor Malacrass proposed: to seal the power of the animal gods within the bodies of the Amani's strongest warriors.

Timed challenge: Amani War Bear
Zul’jin and his lieutenants are holding several hostages in Zul’Aman. When you enter the instance, the Amani will begin preparations to terminate them. If you defeat one of Zul’jin’s lieutenants and reach a hostage before time runs out, you’ll be rewarded with an additional piece of loot and a timer extension—a brief stay of execution. Rescue all hostages, and your raid will be rewarded with one Amani War Bear epic mount.

WoW: A Wrath Of The Lich ...
World of Warcraft The Burning Crusade Classic and WoW Classic Season of Mastery are both in full swing, but if new files referencing the game's Wrath of the Lich King expansion are any indication, Blizzard may soon be adding another way for players to relive the game's glory days.
As spotted by MMO-Champion, the recently released The Burning Crusade Classic was pushed to the game's patch servers, hinting that the Wrath of the Lich King Classic could be on the way. A new folder called "Interface-Wrath" has been found in the game client, containing changes specific to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack, such as support for the new Death Knight class on the character creation screen and when logging in blue interface button screen.
This means that players may sooner or later storm Icecrown Citadel and confront Arthas, but Burning Crusade Classic may need to reach the end of its content cycle before that. The game's Dark Temple and Raid on Mount Hyjal were released in January, which means remaining updates like The Gods of Zul'Aman and Fury of the Sunwell are due later in the year.
After that, it only makes sense for Blizzard to let players stick with the "classic" version of Wrath of the Lich King. Wrath of the Lich King was one of the most popular expansions in the game, and during the 2010 expansion, prior to the release of the Cataclysm expansion, Blizzard's MMORPG peaked at over 12 million subscribers.
Both WoW Classic and Burning Crusade Classic are currently included in the game's subscription fee, which also allows access to the current Shadowlands expansion. Adding another expansion to this list, and arguably the most popular expansion in the game seems to be Blizzard bringing in more defunct WoW players while also offering a way to play WoW Classic And a surefire way to deliver more content to players of The Burning Crusade Classic.
No matter how the version of the game is changed, World of Warcraft gold has always been an indispensable item for players. And MMOSO.com will always provide WOW players with the gold they want, and it is very cheap and safe. The current WoW TBC Classic gold is also a lot of players will choose to buy in MMOSO.
