Recently, community manager PezRadar posted on the official forums about some major changes in Diablo 2 Resurrected Patch 2.6, which includes new Runewords and the release date of D2R Ladder Season 3. In today's guide, let's learn about the D2R ladder information, release date, and new items.

1. What Is Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder?

The Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder is simply resets the leaderboard for ranked games. You start the ladder with a new character and an empty inventory, and try to climb the leaderboards. Each new ladder comes with new rune words and tweaks to class skills to entice new and experienced players into the game.

2. Diablo 2 Resurrected Patch 2.6 Patch Notes Release Date

We can look forward to the official release date of the D2R 2.6 patch on February 6th. Once D2R patch 2.6 goes live, we'll be jumping into the new season very quickly.

3. D2R Ladder Season 3 Release Date & Season 2 End Date

According to a post from the Diablo 2 Resurrected community manager, we can confirm that D2R Season 3 will start on February 16th, and Season 2 will end on the same day. So it won't be long before we get to the next ladder reset and experience one of the most classic PC RPG games ever.

4. Diablo 2 Resurrected Patch 2.6 New Items

Runewords are a set of powerful runes dropped in Diablo II: Resurrected that can be socketed into your items to grant abilities. In Season 3, Blizzard introduced eight new d2r ladder runewords for ladder and offline single-player play, hoping to spice up the Ladder meta and give players additional tools to bring the new build to life as they rush to 99 Develop new strategies as you progress.
