Diablo 2 Resurrected: Must-Pick Blue Jewels, Pay Attention to These Attribute Combinations

Dec-25-2023

In Diablo 2 Resurrected, the attributes of most equipment and items remain largely unchanged from the original version. Some suitable items from older versions still serve the same purpose in the remake. In addition to the diverse equipment, players often come across items that can be embedded into gear, such as runes, gems, and jewels. Of course, their functions are not limited to embedding alone.

Jewels have three qualities: blue, yellow, and orange. Although blue jewels have a higher overall drop rate than the latter two, it doesn't necessarily mean they are worth less than yellow or orange jewels. The value mainly depends on the equipment embedding requirements. Specific attribute blue jewels are extremely rare. If you don't want to miss out on those valuable blue jewels, it is necessary to understand their characteristics and valuable attribute combinations in depth.

Blue jewels can have up to two word property attributes, including one prefix and one suffix. Many word property attributes can only appear on blue jewels or have maximum values higher than those that can appear on yellow jewels. For example, the "15% increased attack speed" attribute can only appear on blue jewels, while the enhanced damage attribute has a maximum value of +40% on blue jewels and +30% on yellow jewels. Below are some of the more common and valuable prefix and suffix properties that blue jewels can have (with maximum variable values).

Prefixes: +15 maximum damage, +40% enhanced damage, +8 minimum damage, all resistances +15, single resistance +30%, +50% to demons' hit chance and +40% damage to demons, +3 mana recovered per kill

Suffixes: +15 maximum damage, +10 minimum damage, +15% increased attack speed, +9 dexterity, +9 strength

One prefix attribute can be combined with one suffix attribute (or a single prefix or suffix attribute) to form many types of blue quality jewels. Some rare and highly valuable attribute combinations include:

+40% enhanced damage +15% increased attack speed (red and white bead), +30 maximum damage (ruby bead), +15 maximum damage +15% increased attack speed (cinnabar white), +30% fire resistance +15% increased attack speed (encased head) and so on.

However, due to the large number of prefix and suffix properties and the existence of certain variables, the actual probability of finding two word property combinations with reasonable attributes and high variability is very low. In addition, blue jewels can also use three random perfect gems to randomly change their attributes. This is similar to washing super large runes, washing blue lord shields, etc. It is a big pit, consumes a lot, and depends heavily on luck.
