How to reach Elden Ring’s Miquella’s Haligtree

Mar-15-2024

There is no more challenging area in Elden Ring than Miquellas Haligtree. That goes not just for the difficulty of the zone itself -- its full of the toughest enemies, the thorniest platforming, and the most troublesome secrets on the map -- but even for simply getting there in the first place.

The Miquellas Haligtree in the Elden Ring is a hidden area that can only be unlocked after certain prerequisites are met. For players who are not sure how to enter here, please read our passage carefully to find Miquellas Haligtree entry method in the Elden Ring. I hope it can help you.

Step 1: Obtain the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left) and Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right).

There are two secret medallions for the Haligtree. First, come to the village of the Albinaurics in the southwest of Liurnia of the Lakes, and then walk along the rock wall to find an NPC disguised as a pot (hitting the pot will reveal his true body). Talk to him and get the medallion on the right half.

Then head to the northern Castle Sol on the Mountaintop of The Giants, defeat the boss Neo in the upper right corner of the Consecrated Sonwfield, and at the top of the city, obtain the other half of the medallion through the plot.

The Haligtree Secret Medallion is a mission item in the Elden Ring. When we have the Haligtree Secret Medallion, we can go to the Grand Lift of Rold. After lifting the medallion, the Grand Lift of Rold will switch to the secret path leading to the Haligtree. After passing through this secret path, we can go to the Haligtree, where the Valkyrie is located.

Step 2: Start the Grand Lift of Rold

After obtaining two secret medallions from the Haligtree, head to the Grand Lift of Rold between the Altan Plateau and the Mountaintop of The Giants, enter the Consecrated Sonwfield, and explore here while also activating blessings.

Step 3: Ignite the statues in Ordina Liturgical Town

On the north side of the town, you’ll see an imp statue and a teleporter plate. Interact with the imp and it will tell you that you need to “light the four figures in the evergaol”. Enter the evergaol version of this place by stepping on the plate, but keep your wits about you – there are enemies here now, from invisible assassins on the streets to glintstone bow archers on the rooftops.

Run down the main stairs and through the back alley straight ahead and to the right. Follow it all the way around to the right and youll come to a ladder.

Just sprint all the way here because you wont have to worry about the assassins backstabbing you as soon as you climb up -- they wont follow. If you climb the other ladder at the top, theres a statue to light. From this position, you can see two of the other statues. One is located at ground level to the other side of the main steps, and the other is located across the rooftops from your current position. To reach the high statue, you need to hop your way across the rooftops, using the high points jutting out to reach the higher roofs and balancing your way across connective arches. Watch out for the glintstone archers as you go.

As soon as you light this statue, turn around the look straight. You can see another statue in the distance.

To reach this one, backtrack slightly to a building between your current position and the previous statue, and look down. Youll see a balcony with a ladder. Drop down to the balcony, then jump up onto the railing and hop onto its corner piece.

In the picture above, jump from that corner to where my character is standing. From there, you can hop across to the buildings leading to the third statue.

Now you just need to make your way to the street level to activate the final statue by the stairs. If you die, you can collect your runes from the safe version of this area. Any statues you activated before you die remain lit, so theres no need to redo ones youve already done.

Lighting all four will remove the magic barrier from the top of the steps and allow entrance into the new Miquellas Haligtree area.

Step 4:  Activate the Portal

After igniting four figures, go to the northernmost end of the town and activate with the portal to reach the Miquellas Haligtree.
