Mohgwyn Palace is one of Elden Ring's many hidden subterranean locations, filled with challenging enemies, rich lore, and valuable items. This Palace is a secret, late-game area in Elden Ring which you cannot reach by conventional means. This guide detailed demonstration of how to reach to the Mohgwyn Palace in Elden Ring, so if you want to get to Mohgwyn Palace, let's follow in my footsteps and read this article in detail together.
How to get to Mohgwyn Palace?
To get to Mohgwyn Palace in Elden Ring, you can use teleportation. Here are two primary methods to get you there:
Method 1: Complete White Mask Varre's Questline and use the reward Pureblood Knight's Medal to teleport yourself to the Mohgwyn area.
Method 2: Reach the Consecrated Snowfield, and use the Portal there to teleport to Mohgwyn Palace.
Complete White Mask Varre's Questline
To use Pureblood Knight's Medal reach the Mohgwyn, you must Complete White Mask Varre's Questline first. The White Mask Varre's is a NPC you can meet at the beginner in Elden Ring. It has been proven that this side mission also has a complete storyline. Here are some steps that taught you how to complete the questline.
1. First Encounter: Your initial meeting with Varre takes place at the Site of Grace shortly after departing the tutorial zone.
2. Second Encounter: After defeating Godrick the Grafted, you'll find Varre waiting at the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes.
3. Invasion Tasks: Varre will give you Festering Bloody Fingers to invade other players' worlds. You need to successfully invade three times or defeat Magnus The Beast Claw in Writheblood Ruins.
4. Maiden's Blood: After the invasions, Varre will ask you to anoint a cloth with the blood of a maiden. Use a maiden's body, such as the one at the Church of Inhibition.
5. Receive the Medal: Return to Varre, and he will give you the Pureblood Knight's Medal.
Once you obtain the Pureblood Knight's Medal, activating the medal, and it will teleport you directly to Mohgwyn Palace.
These steps not only tell you how to obtain the Pureblood Knight's Medal, they're also some parts for killing Varré. You can quickly complete the side questline by mastering these steps, many elden ring runes will drop in the process of opening up new places. So you can accumulate more runes to update your equipment.
Teleport in Consecrated Snowfield
For the second method, you need to put in more efforts to teleport to Mohgwyn Palace. The first step is reaching the Consecrated Snowfield. To access this area, you need the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
Right Half: Retrieved from the Village of the Albinaurics located in the southwestern part of Liurnia. In this area, you can encounter Albus. This npc disguises as a pot, speaking to him and obtaining Right Half.
Left Half: You can found it in Castle Sol in the Mountaintops of the Giants. After defeating Commander Niall, you can get the left half part.
Then, activate the Grand Lift of Rold. Use the secret medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold to access the Consecrated Snowfield. Once you unlock the snowfield, you can search the Portal. From the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, head west. The portal is located in a cave guarded by Albinaurics and will take you to Mohgwyn Palace.
Interact with this portal and you'll be teleported to Mohgwyn Palace easily. Going from the Consecrated Snowfield to Mohgwyn Palace makes a lot of sense because the two regions are quite similar in difficulty level, so you're likely to be able to handle Mohgwyn Palace more easily by taking this method.
