​Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.5 PTR New Builds - Best Sundered Build In D2R Patch 2.5 & Ladder Season 2

Blizzard updated Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR 2.5 on September 15, which brought players a group of new build templates, and new Sundered Charms equipped for each character template. In this guide, we will introduce you to the complete list of character templates, as well as the best build in D2R Patch 2.5 and Ladder Season 2.

Complete New D2R PTR 2.5 Build List

During D2R PTR 2.5 (9.15 - 9.19 PDT time), all player-crafted characters will be removed and replaced with 13 level 85 character template options for them to use during the PTR. Each character template comes with a new Sundered Charms, so players can experience first-hand how they work. Here is the full list of role templates you can use:

Freezing Arrow Amazon - Cold Sunder

Fire Arrow Amazon - Fire Sunder

Frenzy Barbarian - Physical Sunder

Fire Claw Druid - Fire Sunder

Fire Druid - Fire Sunder

Bone Necromancer - Magic Sunder

Poison Necromancer - Poison Sunder

Best Sundered Builds In D2R Patch 2.5 and Ladder Season 2

Sorceress

Once you break this 100% immunity threshold, Sorceresses with Cold Mastery already have enough additional skills to break it to -170%, so all Cold Sorceress will be the most operational D2R Patch 2.5 Sundered Build. If before they were limited by a fair amount of Unbreakable Cold immunity, now this is no longer an issue. But with infinity, all of them becomes -200%, and you'll be facing all the Terror Zones throughout the game, and everything becomes super easy.

Druid

Fire Druid will likely be one of the main fire-themed builds in the D2R  Patch 2.5. Fire Druid uses amazing damage and has a lot of variabilities, what to use and for what purpose, and the absence of human unities way more places will be amazing for him to farm.

Paladin

Holy Shock Zealer is probably one of the best D2R Patch 2.5 Sunder builds, as the crescent moon is easy to make for your zeal attacks, and considering you get griffins at some point, maybe eventually you'll get infinity on your mercenary. But since there is no immunity, you can reduce these resources to low levels, so you can deal a lot of damage with these holy shock procs.

Necromancer

In Diablo 2 Resurrected, there are only two best builds that actually use poison in a viable, and the first choice is the Necromancer. Previously players could only use lower resistances to break the immunity, but now players can use charm to break immunity, then lowering resistances will make resistances almost zero. On top of that, there isn't actually that much poison immunity in the game, but considering they're farming Terror Zones, this would be a nice addition to keep Necromancer from heating some hard blocks in terms of poison immunity enemies.

Amazon

It's just a nice change as they will be able to deal with those monsters. But since they don't really have easy access to lower resolutions, which is the only source of reduced poison resistance, it's going to be a little harder. They also can't use three-piece trunk sand, since they can't wear necromancer heads, so that's not an approach either. Potentially, you could use the playground word on Act 5 mercenary, or a donut swap at a lower resolution, which isn't as effective.
