Shared Stash Rules Most Players Get Wrong

Blizzard uses Past-marked withdraw-only tabs after each ladder ends.

The confusion is what expires when, not whether items vanish instantly.

What happens at Season 14 shutdown:

1. All ladder characters move to non-ladder (Softcore, Hardcore, classic, expansion)
2. Current Season 14 shared stash contents move into new Past withdraw tabs
3. Any Season 13 items still sitting in old Past tabs are permanently deleted
4. You have all of Season 15 to withdraw Season 14 Past-tab items to non-ladder characters

You do not need to empty your active Season 14 shared stash before maintenance.

Withdraw Checklist (Do This Before 11 AM PDT)

Ten minutes in the stash beats a season of regret.

Before Season 14 maintenance:

• Log every ladder character and check personal inventory plus shared tabs
• Open all Past withdraw-only tabs - move anything you want to keep onto non-ladder mules
• Prioritize high runes, Sunder Charms, Colossal Ancient pieces, and socket bases
• Move ladder-only trade goods you plan to sell on non-ladder before prices shift
• Leave empty space on non-ladder mules for post-reset withdrawals
• Do not stash new ladder finds in shared tabs minutes before shutdown

If a tab shows the Past checkmark, treat it like a countdown box, not long-term storage.

Double-check Hardcore and Softcore mules separately before you log out for maintenance.

High-Value Items to Pull First

Not everything needs moving today. Focus on what hurts to replace or what expires.

Pull first:

• Season 13 leftovers still in Past tabs (deleted at Season 14 end)
• Jah, Ber, Sur, Lo, and other trade runes on ladder mules you will not play on Season 15
• Perfect socket bases saved for Enigma, Infinity, or Grief
• Latent Sunder Charms you farmed under Patch 3.2 rates
• Colossal Ancient Statue pieces close to a full set

Can wait until Season 15:

• Season 14 shared stash bulk - you get the full season to withdraw
• Low-tier ladder gear you already duplicated on non-ladder

Rushing a full stash sort during maintenance countdown creates new mis-clicks. Move high-value stacks first, then sort bulk gear during the Aug 18-21 downtime window.

Patch 3.3 on Aug 18: What Changes Before Season 15

Patch 3.3 lands August 18, three days before the new ladder race. Non-ladder and the pre-season window feel the changes first.

Player-facing Patch 3.3 highlights:

1. Previous ladder-only uniques (Mania, Hysteria, Metamorphosis, etc.) move to non-ladder
2. Reign of the Warlock item tweaks stay ladder-only on changed bases
3. Worldstone Shard drop rate down, but an extra item drops alongside each shard
4. Ancient Statue drop rate reduced - finish sets before the patch if you are close
5. Latent Sunder Charm MF farming nerfed; Herald routes matter more in Hell
