How to Get and Upgrade Ludra's Bracelet in Aion 2

category:Aion 2

Abyssal Forge: Ludra, added in the November 4 Aion 2 update, introduces two new bracelets: Abyssal Bracelet and Ludra's Bracelet. Both are Bound, but they have different acquisition methods and Amplify limits.

  • Abyssal Bracelet: Random drop from Normal or Hard Ludra; maximum Amplify +3.
  • Ludra's Bracelet: Crafted with Gear Change Vouchers through Substance Morph; maximum Amplify +5.

If you want Ludra's Bracelet, your main decision is whether to farm Normal or Hard and how to use the vouchers from each clear.

Aion 2 Ludra Bracelet Guide: Vouchers, Amplify & Farm Route

Ludra Entry Requirements: Normal vs. Hard

Abyssal Forge: Ludra has two difficulties, each with a one-hour run limit.

  • Normal: Minimum 2,800 Total Item Level.
  • Hard: Minimum 3,000 Total Item Level.

These are character entry requirements based on Total Item Level, not the Item Level of an individual bracelet or accessory. Meeting the requirement allows you to enter but does not guarantee a successful clear.

Both difficulties offer the same types of rewards, although their drop rates differ. Players who cannot reliably clear Hard can still make progress through Normal.

For more details on dungeon preparation, see our Aion 2 Ludra preparation guide.

Abyssal Bracelet vs. Ludra's Bracelet

The two bracelets differ mainly in how you obtain them and how far you can Amplify them.

Abyssal Bracelet (Bound)

Acquisition: Random drop from Normal or Hard Ludra.

Maximum Amplify: +3.

Best use: A potential intermediate upgrade while farming Ludra.

Ludra's Bracelet (Bound)

Acquisition: Substance Morph using Ludra Gear Change Vouchers.

Maximum Amplify: +5.

Best use: A longer-term bracelet upgrade.

Both bracelets are Bound and cannot be sold directly through the Market.

How to Get Abyssal Bracelet

Abyssal Bracelet can randomly drop from both Normal and Hard Abyssal Forge: Ludra.

NC has confirmed that the drop rate varies by difficulty, but has not published an exact percentage. Treat it as a random reward rather than planning around a guaranteed number of runs.

If your character has at least 2,800 Total Item Level but is not ready for Hard, Normal Ludra still gives you a chance to obtain Abyssal Bracelet while collecting vouchers for Ludra's Bracelet.

How to Get Ludra's Bracelet with Gear Change Vouchers

Ludra's Bracelet is obtained through Substance Morph using the corresponding Gear Change Vouchers.

After clearing Ludra, you can select the relevant voucher as a guaranteed reward:

Normal: Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Bound)

Hard: Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) (Bound)

The confirmed Substance Morph recipes are:

6 Normal Ludra Vouchers → 1 Ludra's Bracelet.

3 Hard Ludra Vouchers → 1 Ludra's Bracelet.

2 Normal Ludra Vouchers → 1 Hard Ludra Voucher.

All resulting bracelets and vouchers are Bound.

How Many Ludra Runs Do You Need?

If you select the corresponding voucher after every clear, the direct routes are:

  • 6 Normal clears: Collect 6 Normal vouchers to craft one Ludra's Bracelet.
  • 3 Hard clears: Collect 3 Hard vouchers to craft one Ludra's Bracelet.

You can also combine the two routes. For example, 4 Normal vouchers can be converted into 2 Hard vouchers. One additional Hard clear gives you the third Hard voucher needed for the bracelet.

The exchange ratio is:

6 Normal vouchers = 3 Hard vouchers = 1 Ludra's Bracelet

2 Normal vouchers = 1 Hard voucher

This makes Normal a valid progression route even if your character cannot yet enter Hard.

Bracelet or Weapon Selection Chest?

Gear Change Vouchers also have another use: Substance Morph can use them to obtain an Abyssal Forge: Weapon Selection Chest (Bound).

This creates a choice between progressing toward Ludra's Bracelet and using vouchers for a weapon selection chest. Before spending your vouchers, check which equipment upgrade would benefit your character more.

Do not assume the bracelet's 6-Normal or 3-Hard voucher recipe also applies to the weapon chest. Check its own Substance Morph requirements in-game.

Should You Upgrade to +3 or Save for +5?

Ludra's Bracelet has the higher Amplify limit, but that does not mean every player should replace an existing bracelet immediately.

Consider your current equipment and voucher progress before investing scarce materials.

If you have Abyssal Bracelet but not Ludra's Bracelet: Use Abyssal as a temporary option if its stats are useful. Avoid spending too many scarce Amplify materials on it if you expect to replace it soon.

If you are close to crafting Ludra's Bracelet: Prioritize finishing the voucher requirement before committing heavily to a bracelet you may soon replace. For example, players with 4–5 Normal vouchers or 2 Hard vouchers are already close to the required exchange.

If you already have Ludra's Bracelet: It is the more suitable long-term target for Amplify investment because it can reach +5. Compare its actual stats and Soulbind Lines with your current bracelet before transferring or spending additional materials.

The November 4 patch notes do not provide a complete material-cost breakdown for bracelet Amplification or gear transfer. Check the in-game Amplify and Transfer previews rather than relying on unverified third-party cost tables.

For general transfer rules, see our Aion 2 gear transfer guide.

Should You Farm Normal or Hard Ludra?

Your best farming route depends on your Total Item Level and how consistently your group can clear the dungeon.

Choose Normal if Your Total Item Level Is 2,800–2,999

Normal is the practical starting point if you have not reached 3,000 Total Item Level.

Each clear lets you work toward the Normal voucher route, while Abyssal Bracelet remains a possible random drop. Six Normal vouchers are enough to craft Ludra's Bracelet.

You do not need to clear Hard to make progress toward the +5 bracelet.

Choose Hard if Your Total Item Level Is 3,000 or Higher

Hard requires at least 3,000 Total Item Level. Its main advantage for bracelet progression is the shorter voucher recipe: three Hard vouchers craft one Ludra's Bracelet, compared with six Normal vouchers.

However, the higher entry requirement does not guarantee a clear. If your group struggles with Hard mechanics or cannot finish consistently, Normal may be the more reliable way to collect vouchers.

Before You Spend Your Ludra Rewards

Use this checklist to avoid wasting runs or upgrade materials:

  1. Confirm your Total Item Level: 2,800 for Normal or 3,000 for Hard.
  2. Select the corresponding Ludra Gear Change Voucher after each clear if the bracelet is your priority.
  3. Remember the exchange ratio: 6 Normal vouchers or 3 Hard vouchers for one Ludra's Bracelet.
  4. Decide whether you need the bracelet or the Abyssal Forge: Weapon Selection Chest before using vouchers.
  5. Avoid heavily investing in Abyssal Bracelet if you are close to crafting Ludra's Bracelet.
  6. Compare stats and Soulbind Lines before replacing your current bracelet.
  7. Check the in-game Amplify and Transfer previews before spending materials.

Which Bracelet Should You Aim For?

Use Abyssal Bracelet as an intermediate option if it drops while you farm Ludra. If you want the higher Amplify ceiling, keep collecting vouchers for Ludra's Bracelet.

Choose Normal for reliable progression when your character is below 3,000 Total Item Level or your group cannot consistently clear Hard. Choose Hard when your group can clear it reliably and you want the shorter voucher route.

Browse the Aion 2 items section for more equipment and progression options.
